SYDNEY, HUNTER VALLEY & SOUTH COAST NSW, WEDDING & ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

You've planned a day full of MEANING, I’ll make sure you never forget how it felt.

Wedding photography for couples who don’t want a performance - they want presence, connection, and lasting memories.

SEE WHAT THE EXPERIENCE LOOKS LIKE

You’re not here for poses or performance.

You're here to be SEEN.

BECAUSE MAYBE YOUR QUIETLY WONDERING…

“We don’t want to be turned into someone we’re not in front of the camera.”

“We want photos that feel like us, not just look polished.”

“We want someone who values connection over curation.”

“We want the real moments, the ones that matter most, captured with care.”

You’re not asking too much. You’re asking for what matters.

Most wedding photography is designed for the scroll.
Mine is designed for you.
So when you look back, it’s not just beautiful, it’s deeply personal.

This is different.

By the end of your wedding day, you’ll feel completely at ease, fully present, fully seen, and surprised by how much you actually enjoyed being photographed.

Your photos will reflect the day as it really felt:

The nervous breath before the aisle The teary eye during vows The special moment in your first dance

AND ONE DAY, 50 YEARS FROM NOW, YOU’LL HOLD THESE PHOTOS AND FEEL EVERY MOMENT AGAIN.

I’m Charlotte,

SYDNEY-BASED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER FOR COUPLES WHO VALUE PRESENCE OVER PERFORMANCE, AND WANT THEIR DAY DOCUMENTED, NOT DIRECTED.

Your wedding isn’t a production.
It’s not a content day.
And it’s definitely not a photoshoot.

It’s a collection of moments you don’t want to rush past, the deep breaths, the nervous laughter, the way everything feels just before it all begins.

My role is simple: to pay attention.

To document your day as it unfolds, without interruption or expectation.
So you can stay present, connected, and fully in it, while I quietly capture the moments that matter.

So when its all over, you’re not just left with beautiful images, you’re left with a story that feels like YOU.

The Unspoken Truths of Planning a Wedding
THE NO-BS WEDDING ADVICE YOU WON'T FIND ON PINTEREST

Charlotte Fraser | Top wedding photographers in Sydney

You’re planning a wedding - but suddenly you’re expected to be an event planner, logistics manager, relationship counsellor, and trend analyst all at once.

NO ONE WARNS YOU ABOUT THAT PART.

That’s why I created The Unspoken Truths of Planning a Wedding - a 16-page guide that skips the fluff and gives it to you straight. Based on real weddings, real couples, and the honest stuff no one else is brave enough to say out loud.

  • ✓ The real reason your run sheet matters (and how to make one that actually works)
✓ What no one tells you about guest lists—and why it’s okay to be ruthless
✓ Vendor red flags and how to find your people
✓ How to avoid disappearing for two hours of portraits
✓ Golden hour myths, family photo hacks, and why it’s not about perfection
✓ What to expect after the wedding (yes, the post-wedding blues are real)

This isn’t fluff. It’s the good stuff—practical, honest, and totally unfiltered.

This ISN'T about fake smiles or perfect poses.

It’s about capturing your real connection - so your gallery feels like you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes—engagement sessions can be added to your wedding package or if you simply want to meet me first before locking in your wedding this can be a great chance to see if we are a good fit!

  • Absolutely! Whether you’re tying the knot in Sydney, heading off for a coastal celebration, or planning a destination wedding, I’m always up for an adventure. I’ll create a custom quote for travel more than 2 hours from Sydney to keep things clear and simple - just say the word and I’ll pack my bags!

  • Hmmm there is so many to pick from… But I would have to say any first look, whether thats with a parent or special figure in your life or the first time your partner see’s you down the aisle, and I also love capturing cocktail hour - your guests mingling, those shots of the people you love congratulating you, the ones where true happiness and emotions shine through.

  • Great question! My style is a mix of documentary (more of a fly on the wall style) and editorial (creating more of a narrative with some gentle guidance) - real, relaxed, and refined. That means I focus on capturing honest moments as they naturally unfold, while still creating beautiful, intentional images that feel elevated and timeless. I’m not about stiff posing or trendy filters—just photos that look and feel like you, with a touch of polish.

  • I grew up with my mum making the BEST Sunday Roast—so honestly it would have to be that. And if it was a dessert, it would have to be banoffee pie!
