Have you been considering a Sydney session but don't quite know what location to choose?

This blog post is covering some of my most favourite and recommend spots in Sydney that all have the city back drop.

Milk Beach & Nielsen Park

Milk Beach is a hidden gem offering some of the most stunning views of Sydney Harbour & the city. Whilst the beach is small it provides a perfect backdrop for those looking for a mixture of ocean and city views. The beach paired with some rocky outcrops makes for the perfect session location.

The peaceful ambiance and clear views make it a favorite spot for sunrise and sunset shoots, where the changing light enhances the natural beauty of the scene.

Top tip for this spot - try and avoid weekend sunsets as it can get very busy, I would not recommend this spot if you are feeling a bit nervous about people being around and watching you.

Cremorne Point

Nestled way in the heart of Cremorne, Cremorne Point is truly an amazing sunrise or sunset location for your session. With a stunning settings it offers the perfect location to explore with the amazing city backdrop.

The photos featured here were during sunrise on a chilly September morning.

With a ferry port and also bus stop, it is easily accessible with various parking options nearby.

P.s its also dog friendly! (on lead)

Hickson Road Reserve

In the heart of The Rocks in Sydney lies Hickson Road Reserve. A stunning park location opposite the Opera House with gorgeous city views and offering a waterside oasis location.

Slightly less busy than the Opera House steps, this offers the perfect sunrise or sunset location for your couples session or wedding portraits.

With a short walk to Circular Quay you could also pair your session with a trip on the ferry to spice things up and for a different perspective.
